Job Requirements:Ability to travel to customer sites locally and globally. (Around 160 days/year)Must have a valid driver’s license.Proficiency level in German and EnglishExperience in Substation Automation Systems, working on technical support, testing, maintenance, commissioning in transmission, distribution, industrial and power plants environments.Experience with electrical Protection relays and Control systems (LV, MV & HV).Experience in substation automation systems (PACiS, DS Agile & Zenon knowledge preferred)Experience in Networking, communication Protocols and OT Cyber security aspects.Candidates with proven knowledge of GE protection relays and Substation automation solutions are preferred.Desired CharacteristicsMinimum of a BSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) coupled with four to five years project/service related experience.Control systems Commissioning Engineer with over 3 years' experience in substations ranging from 11kV to 400kV.Knowledge of Automation, Electrical Control Systems and SCADA/DCS systems.Strong technical skills in Networking, communication Protocols and Cyber security aspects.Knowledge of GE Protection relays and DS Agile or Zenon SCADA will be highly valued.Experience with electrical Control systems detailed design is essential for the job.Ability to perform Functional testing of SCADA/HMI panels.Experience in Factory Acceptance Testing and on-site commissioning of control systems.Strong technical skills on testing & Commissioning control systems including but not limited to SCADA Functional testing, HMI validation, Network communication tests, Integration & testing with 3rd part systems on IEC101/104, signal testing with protection relays on IEC61850.Experience in performing Cyber security functional tests.Ability to organize, prioritize and achieve milestones and deliverables.Open to working extended hours and weekends.Sound judgment, levelheaded under pressure, with an ability to think on your feet.High energy, positive individual, loving service challenges.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus and ability to cooperate with the different departments.A rigorous team working approach with a high level of self-motivation, flexibility, and self-learning attitude.Must be a motivator, self-starter, and dedicated team player with a sense of urgency and an ability to work to tight deadlines.Basic first aid skills & Offshore Certification is preferred but not essential.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided:No
