RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION DETAILS:
This is atemporaryposition with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.
LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months (permanent hire conversion is possible based on performance and business need)LOCATION: Cape Canaveral, FL
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate2+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
High-volume cooking experienceExperience with daily changing menusCurrent and valid SERV Safe or Food Handler’s card or equivalentFriendly customer service attitude
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape CanaveralAbility to work one of the following shifts:Monday - Friday: 5am-4pmMonday - Friday: 1:30pm- 12:30amFrequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects are generally required to perform the functions of this positionAbility to work 52-60 hours per weekWeekend availabilityAbility to work holidaysAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. unassistedAbility to work in continuously-standing position for 5+ hoursAbility to work with hands continuously: chop, stir, scrape, scrubAbility to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Level 1: $21.00/hour
Level 2: $23.00/hour
Level 3: $25.00/hour
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for potential discretionary bonuses.
