Through the platform, we’re providing intelligent data that supports over 15,000+ 911 and first responder agencies across North America, protecting 95%+ of people in the US, across 165M+ emergencies annually.What this role is about:As the Corporate Development & Finance Associate, you will apply thought leadership, analytical skills, and business judgment to create models and other materials to help define strategic priorities, deliver operational excellence, and foster innovation and growth for RapidSOS. The Corporate Development & Strategy team uses strategic, financial, investment, and operational frameworks to identify, develop and execute strategic acquisitions, projects, and operational initiatives in close collaboration with the Leadership Team. You’ll excel in this role if you enjoy wearing multiple hats, have an analytical mindset, thrive at solving strategic and operational challenges, and are mission-driven with a low ego.What you’ll do:Develop and present materials which translate the learnings from research and analysis into an effective presentation and discussion materials for relevant internal and external stakeholdersOwn our growth model from the bottom up - Model revenue growth, track and model key SaaS metrics, analyze long-term margins, and conduct scenario analysis for critical investor and board reporting and to gauge business unit healthSupport the company leadership in executing strategic plans, facilitating relationships with prospective and current investors, managing board dialogue, and other special projectsCollaborate with the sales, finance, and operations teams to track actuals & support the interlock between revenue recognition and billing during a key phase of the business growth; serve as a trusted finance partner across the company to operationalize our go-to-market strategyAssist in the development of strategic budgets and forecasts, providing specific, actionable, and forward-looking insight into the various changes as well as guidance on potential risk and opportunity itemsProvide ad hoc financial and operational modeling and business case analysis in areas such as M&A and new product developmentDrive continuous process improvement, including working cross-functionally, to create repeatable, consistent best practices that enable scaleWhat we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking or other similar fieldsExceptional analytical skills; high attention to detail with polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills - fluency in Excel and PowerPointBS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experiencePioneering: The tenacity to work effectively as part of a team and independently to overcome obstacles and problem-solve to the desired outcomeTrust & safety: Unimpeachable personal integrity, relentless curiosity, and commitment to our mission and valuesPurpose over pride: Strong work ethic, self-starter, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentOpen to coming into the NYC office once a week with flexibility depending on projects at handWhat we offer:The chance to work with a passionate team on solving one of the largest challenges globallyCompetitive salary and benefits and equity participationA dynamic, flexible and fun start-up work environment with a highly talented teamIf you’re curious to learn more about RapidSOS, you can check outhttps://rapidsos.com/blog/Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands.
