DescriptionLeidos Defense System is seeking a talentedIntegration and Test Engineer Leadto join our growing Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) team in Huntsville, Alabama. As part of the integrated team the successful candidate will design, create and execute system integration tests. The I&T Lead will coordinate with multiple IPTs for integration of software, hardware, and network products; conduct development and delivery testing events; assist in development of TTPs, SOPs, CONOPS, and other operational documents; participate in engineering review and failure review boards; and assist program management in writing white papers.Become a part of a team where you’ll know that the system that you help develop and support are keeping deployed warfighters safe on the battlefield as well as aiding in the defense of our nation from foreign adversaries.

Primary ResponsibilitiesReviewing of requirements and design documents to generate Test Cases including identifying test data and defining test environment needsCreating and reviewing test plans and test designs, working with third party suppliers to ensure requirements coverage.Creating, reviewing and optimizing Testing Processes.Preparation and Execution of Test Cases to fully functionally test across the software, network and infrastructure solution stack at all levelsPreparation and Execution of Test Cases to test the system and verify safety, security, resilience, service management and other non-functional requirementsProducing Test Reports and report on interim progressDocumenting of test results and any defectsReporting progress, risks & issues to Team LeadsInvestigating issues and working with suppliers to identify root cause and resolutionAnalyzing data and test evidence from suppliers to show compliance to requirementsBasic QualificationsBachelor degree and 12-15 years of recent relevant experience or Masters degree and 10-13 years of recent relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.Strong test experience in systems and systems of systems and\or integration testing of IT solutionsDemonstrable Testing experience with IT Systems and ServicesExcellent understanding of the Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional and Integration TestingDemonstrable Systems Integration experience including integrating 3rd party systems or multiple componentsAble to estimate and plan own immediate tasks and manage their completionExperience of creating Test Cases and scripts based on requirements and design documentsExperience of both manual and automated testing and how to apply these to IT application and infrastructure solutionsGood oral and written communication skills, confident in technical and non-technical discussionsGood time management and organizational skills - ability to work with minimal supervision and direct others to do the sameEnthusiastic, proactive, troubleshooting attitude with a willingness to learn new technologiesMust be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Must be a resident of the North Alabama areaorwilling to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Preferred QualificationsWorking with large-scale and complex integration programsAbility to analyze and review test evidence from 3rd party suppliersKnowledge of Service Oriented ArchitectureExperience with virtualized products/services/solutionsExperience of deriving test artefacts from Model Based designsFamiliarity with agile software development processes and products (release and sprint planning, product backlog management/refinement, retrospectives, etc.) and SecDevOpsOriginal Posting Date:2024-12-18While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
