Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.DATA & CONTROL SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (LAUNCH HARDWARE)RESPONSIBILITIES:Install and terminate wiring to pad instrumentation and data acquisition systemsInstall connectors, connector pins, terminals and lugsPerform continuity checks, locate and correct wiring errors using measuring instruments such as ohmmeters and voltage calibratorsPerform work in support of fellow technicians and engineering employees using shop assembly equipment and hand toolsCollaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures and issues derived from test dataWrite, create and organize work planning documents and instructionsGenerate purchase orders from vendor quotesLead complex and mentally taxing projects with little to no oversightInstall and modify electrical conveyances, including but not limited to conduit and cable trayInstall cable and cable assembliesBuild intricate and complex cable assemblies using Mil-C connectors and contactsTroubleshoot AC power distribution equipment up to 480VACBuild and terminate AC power equipment up to 480VACBuild, terminate, troubleshoot and maintain PLC based manufacturing hardwareFabricate support structures, enclosures and conveyances for electrical distribution equipment

Pay range:

Data & Control Systems Technician/Level 1: $23.00 - $31.00/hourData & Control Systems Technician/Level 2: $28.00 - $37.00/hourData & Control Systems Technician/Level 3: $33.00 - $43.00/hour
