They are responsible for providing standards for databases installation, monitoring, setup, DR solutions, maintenance, backups, recovery, etc. Responsible for testing the standards and working with other teams to implement.ResponsibilitiesResearch and develop various technologies to drive efficiencies - DB automation, DB storage, etc.Understand project vision and goals, and design and engineer appropriate solutionsDevelop and implement solutions for database sizing/capacity, server requirements and space requirementsDocument database development guidelines and standardsKnowledge of HA and DR architecture and solutions for database recovery.Identifies current initiatives and key issues related to organizational technological policies.Evaluate the latest versions of RDBMS softwareStrong motivation for problem solving, analysis, and testingAnalyzing existing Oracle database implementationsPromoting utilization of new or unused capabilities of Oracle databases to improve performance, scalability and availabilityDemonstrable experience improving existing infrastructureDescribes expected benefits of effective organizational IT policies, standards and proceduresCollaborate across the EP function to ensure that standard platforms are best-in-classConducting post-mortem analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and prevent recurring issuesYour Profile
