The demand planner is a highly-visible position responsible for maintaining all monthly operational forecasts. The role will drive collaboration with Merchandising, Sales and Finance to reconcile forecast gaps and adjust the baseline forecast. The role will also identify trends, monitor historical sales and support the development of strategies to achieve division revenue goals.Essential ResponsibilitiesFor each forecast milestone event, validate the channel roll-up of sales, margin, and style/color productivity metrics to meet team, channel, region, and company goalsAssist in setting team goals for revenue, gross margin, inventory, and style/color productivity that meet overall channel/regional financial metricsMaintain Demand Plans for supporting channels and manage forecasts in ERP systems.
