The TOMS Creative Team is an in-house agency providing design, communication, editorial, photographic, and video content, as well as stewardship of the visual identity of the TOMS Brand.The Digital/Print Designer is an integral part of the Creative Team in supporting Retail, Merchandising, eCommerce, and Marketing goals. This designer thinks conceptually and designs thoughtfully. They are a strong communicator, an eager collaborator, and a natural problem-solver. They can balance channel feedback with their own expertise to create work that meets marketing goals while maintaining the brand aesthetic. They stay ahead of deadlines and up-to-date on trends.

Essential ResponsibilitiesCreate and oversee the development of a range of branded materials, including: Emails, Digital Banners, Web Pages, Workbooks, Retail Windows, Retail Signage, Trade Show Booth Materials, Ads, Print Pieces, and Packaging MaterialsDesign creative and execute production files that are detailed, to scale, and production-readyHelp develop seasonal campaign concepts with Art Director and CopywriterEnsure consistency of the TOMS brand aestheticKeep project goals at the forefront of design workWork well under pressure of tight deadlines and changing demandsContinue to evolve and develop skills and technique through research of current trendsEvaluate policies and processes and offer ideas for improvementWork Experience3+ years relevant experience in a marketing, advertising, and/or design environment, or equivalent educational experienceExpert experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Sketch requiredExpert knowledge in the principles of design (alignment, proximity, visual hierarchy, negative space, repetition, contrast, balance, typography, and color) and current trendsA confident, informed point of view on designImpeccable written, verbal, and visual communication skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesExperience giving and receiving feedback to partners in and outside of the creative departmentAbility to distill and present information cross-functionallySkills & QualificationsA passion for art and designDemonstrated leadership among creative peersExp erience working for a Lifestyle, Beauty, or Fashion company, with particular interest in Impact-driven brandsStrong organizational skills and high degree of comfort in ProductionExpertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch softwareExperience with 3-D rendering software preferredEfficiency in retouching and creating GIFsEEO Statement: TOMS is an equal opportunity employer and will consider applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the ordinance.
