Please submit your application in English.Your responsibilitiesElectrical design of transformers/reactors with the evaluation, selection and application of the reference normative standards and procedures to perform engineering assignments mainly focused on MV and rolling stock applications.Collaboration with engineering team members and customers to discuss technical solutions tailored to market requirementsTechnical support for manufacturing locations, the focus being on producing transformers in accordance with design specificationsSupport and supervise complex projects on topics such as testing, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring best-in-class design engineeringTroubleshooting and failure analysis in strategic product development projectsCollaboration with the sales team and our customers regarding transformer design and liaise with Design System Manager to coordinate improvements or implementation in the design systemYour backgroundElectrical Engineering degree3-5 years electrical design experience preferably in dry type transformer and reactor for MV and rolling stock applications and/or in electrical machinesGood knowledge of dry type transformer manufacturing processes and testingExperience in multiphysics simulation including cooling, heat transfer & flow, electromagnetics, electrostatic fieldsProficiency in use of current design tools including development of dedicated design programs/interfaces (e.g. Matlab; Simulink, Visual Basic)Good English language skills. Italian language is a plusAbility and willingness to do short trips (20%)Ability to interact with colleagues on all levelsKnowledge of Finite Element Analysis is a plusApply now
