Co-manage and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers on the Platform Engineering Group (PEG) across multiple specialized subteamsCollaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define and execute the roadmapEnsure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure blockchain solutionsFoster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellenceManage project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple complex workstreamsManage OKRs/KPIs, and develop strategies and standards for excellenceInterface and collaborate with Senior Executives and the C-Suite ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive organizational change where necessaryStay abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology and distributed systemsContribute to the broader blockchain community through technical talks and thought leadership

WHAT YOU WILL BRING8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleDeep understanding of blockchain technology, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographyStrong background in distributed systems and peer-to-peer networksProven track record of leading and growing high-performing engineering teamsExperience with Golang and/or Rust programming languagesSolid understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code review processesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challengesStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Avalanche or other high-performance blockchain platformsContributions to open-source blockchain projectsKnowledge of interoperability protocols and cross-chain communicationFamiliarity with blockchain storage solutions and optimizationsUnderstanding of zero-knowledge proofs and other advanced cryptographic techniquesExperience with EVMs and blockchain SDKsSalary Range:$253,479 to $346,556(**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)#LI-Remote #LI-TW1
