DESCRIPTIONKey Responsibilities:Assist with the installation of software and resolve licensing/access control issues.Resolve helpdesk tickets and provide customer support with installations, training, and application support for assigned products.Support major systems changes and implementations of new hardware and software.Maintain a mid-level understanding and capability for support of Windows or UNIX operating systems interfaces.Participate in cross-functional reviews; collect and tabulate metrics; gather data using Six Sigma tools; schedule tracking systems and other process improvement tools.Take corrective actions based on problem reports and change requests to ensure high-quality software products.Interface with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions.Assist with the coordination of engineering systems development including planning, scheduling, ordering, and tracking.Participate in improvement projects.Participate in self- and team-audits and associated corrective actions.Perform other duties as required.
