You will play a key role in designing products for the biggest OEM’s on the automotive market.Your Role:Utilizing Siemens NX to create detailed 3D models of automotive components, specifically focusing on cameras and radar systems, guiding these designs from initial concept through to mass production readiness.Generating comprehensive 2D technical drawings that accurately represent the 3D models, including all necessary details for suppliers and manufacturing. This includes the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and conducting thorough tolerance analysis to ensure design specifications are met.Performing detailed analyses of the fields of view for cameras and radars, ensuring optimal coverage and functionality within the intended design parameters and vehicle integration.Engaging in regular communication and collaboration with OEMs and various internal teams, including Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD), and Manufacturing (MFG) departments. This collaboration ensures that design intentions align with production capabilities and customer requirements, leading to successful product development and implementation.
