JOB OVERVIEW:

TheFinancial Consultantwill be focused on supporting needs for clients and the consulting team related toPharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) financial analytics.This individual will be responsible for providing financial analytics and consultative support for internal and external clients within PSG.  The position will support PBM procurements, renewals, market checks and other facets of PSG’s business, such as; evaluating and projecting cost trends, addressing complex industry issues, and process improvement. The individual must have strong analytical and communication skills along with the ability to execute in a fast-paced team environment.  In addition, the individual must have 5 or more years of experience working with and analyzing pharmacy data and understanding the PBM or healthcare industries.

Primary ResponsibilitiesReview all components related to financial bids in PBM procurement and renewal projectsPrepare financial comparisons using complex pricing models for the PBM procurement, renewal, and market check processesParticipate in client discussions regarding PBM vendor RFPs, renewals and market checksSupport Consulting division with analytic support around various cost analysesAssist in other analytic projects as neededRequired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or health care related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge in Excel a plus)Basic understanding of SQLStrong analytical, problem-solving, organization, critical thinking, and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and quality5+ years of pharmacy data experience5+ years of experience and understanding of the PBM (pharmacy benefit management) industryDesired Skills5+ years of analytics, reporting, or modeling experience5+ years of PBM or Pharmacy underwriting experienceAbility to learn quickly and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work creatively, both independently and as part of a teamStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility for some travel (10%)COMPENSATION:The national average annual salary for this role is $110k to $150k in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.
