About the Role:The GL Accountant will be a key member of the Finance team and will report directly to the Accounting Manager. The Finance team is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate financial reporting.What You’ll Do:Work on various accounting related tasks including cash reconciliations, prepaid expenses, and month end accrualsPrepare and post GL journal entriesParticipate on the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingAssist with ongoing account reconciliation and specific projects ensuring that general ledger accounts are resolved and reconciledHelp with account coding reclasses and identify underlying issuesWork closely with the Senior Accountants and Accounting Manager to preparemonthly flux analysis for management reviewRespond to auditor requests in a timely mannerWork collaboratively across departmental functions, providing actionable insights to help drive optimal business decisionsAssist with ad-hoc projectsPreparation of weekly cash reportWhat We’re Looking For:2+ years of total experience in a corporate environment, public accounting a plusStrong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controlsPrevious experience working with external auditorsNetsuite, Coupa, Expensify experience a plus and intermediate level excel skillsMust be proactive, organized, and work in a fast-paced environmentAlways curious and always learningAbility to establish strong relationships with team membersBA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent fieldCreating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of KeepTruckin’s core values.
