Additionally, the role involves leading a team of accountants and collaborating with various financial teams to enhance our business processes.#LI-DNIResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance the accounting framework under Local- and US-GAAPEnsure timely and accurate statutory filings and compliance with local legislative and electronic accounting rulesMonitor and implement local legislative and tax changes, informing relevant teamsMaintain a robust internal control environment in line with SOX requirementsCoordinate and support statutory and corporate auditsEnsure compliance with local tax laws, manage tax filings, and respond to tax authority inquiriesOversee transfer pricing regulations and intercompany transactionsCollaborate with FP&A teams to support budgeting, financial reviews, and corrective actionsProvide ad-hoc financial support to budget holdersLead a team of 4 accountants in MexicoSupport treasury, AP, and procurement teams in managing local banking relationships and vendor inquiriesRequirements
