Position DescriptionJob SummaryCertainTeed is a North American manufacturer of building materials for both commercial and residential construction. The CertainTeed location in Athens, GA, is looking for a self-motivated student to assist with value add project solutions in our insulation plant. The student will have the opportunity to make an impact in an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department at the center of a complex insulation manufacturing site. This role will assist in a variety of projects, and will have exposure to the core processes of the business, including process improvement, safety analysis, environmental monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities. The role will also include exposure to insulation manufacturing processes including preparation of molten glass, fiberizing wool fiberglass matt, curing the binder-coated fiberglass matt and packaging operations.
