The essentials
This isan independent contractor position.Itis a part-time, home-based opportunity.You will be teaching in English using prepared lesson materials via the EF Teach Online platform.
Set your schedule so that teaching fits with the rest of your life.Lessons are available during the China time zone:
Peak hoursare Monday through Friday from6:00am to 8:30am NYT (DST)and Friday & Saturday evening between9:00pm to 10:30pm NYT (DST).
Weekday classes start at 4:00am NYT (DST) and weekend nights starting Friday night at 9:00pm Eastern time (DST) to Saturday morning 9:00am NYT (DST) and Saturday night 9:00pm NYT (DST) to Sunday morning 9:00am NYT (DST).

Responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits
Earn up to $20 per hour through acombination of the base fee and achievable incentives. There are opportunities to earn even more for teaching more classes.
Key Requirements
Experience
Online teachers come from a variety of backgrounds; stay at home parents, current or former teachers, retirees andpeople looking for a lifestyle change.
As our students are young experience in early childhood development, teaching or coaching is preferred, but not necessary. Life experience definitely counts.
Blended Learning
Our onlinelessonsforkids are part of our blended learning model. All students attend groupclasses at our English centres in China. They are given the option to take a weekly one-to-one online session. As an online teacher you’ll be a huge part of a student’s overall learning journey. You’ll providefocused andindividualized attention which allows children to reinforce their skills, gain confidence, and experience a global perspective.
