We are seeking a lead counsel to work on Meta’s EMEA Security Legal Team to support data disclosure, security, safety, and integrity matters in the region. This is a great opportunity to join a team that works on novel issues in an exciting environment.Lead Counsel, Security Legal, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Responsibilities:Provide advice and support the processing of legal requests for user data, and manage the litigation of matters implicating user data disclosure in criminal investigations and civil mattersIdentify and advise business and product partners on legal obligations relating to data disclosure and platform safety and integrity, including child safety and other serious crimesDevelop and draft policies and accountability documentation concerning the protection and disclosure of user dataWork closely and creatively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Policy, Communications, Engineering, and Business Operations in reviewing and addressing governmental regulations, guidelines, policies, including government requests for user dataManage effective relationships with key government agencies, regulators, and law enforcement agencies, in close collaboration with internal cross-functional teamsMinimum Qualifications:
