Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketJob DescriptionRole Summary/PurposeThis individual contributor role is responsible for leading strategic indirect IT sourcing and procurement activities across all aspects of GE Vernova’s IT Category Management for the IT Infrastructure commodity. This role requires strategic ownership of all-encompassing category spend, developing strategies to reduce total cost of ownership - including vendor management, demand management, and governance/compliance - to achieve initial TCO reduction and ongoing year-over-year improvements, utilizing an understanding of industry trends to inform the decision-making process. This role will work with the IT Sourcing leadership to set strategy, coordinate sourcing efforts and policy, and execute initiatives. This role will also involve partnering with GE Vernova functional stakeholders in IT, Finance, Legal, Business Sourcing, Operations, Supply-Chain, Corporate, and other functions to drive TCO reduction while delivering excellent service levels to the organization.
