Who We Look ForAs a tech architect in reconciliation technology team, you will be an integral part of the AMD Engineering Ecosystem. You will design and implement complex, scalable system for AMD back-office space. You will also participate and review various projects and initiatives within AMD reconciliation technology while ensuring the scalability and integrity of the platform.Skills and Experience We Look ForMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering Field7+ years of Java development and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices2+ years experience in building scalable and distributed platforms (AWS cloud technologies is a plus).Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects (NoSql is a plus)Self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraintsExperience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deploymentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsA background in data intensive applications and reconciliationExperience in AWS Cloud technologies and No SQL.Comfortable working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment (Agile development experience)Working knowledge/experience in the financial or banking industryTechnologies & Tools: Java, Web/RESTful service development: HTML 5, JavaScript/AngularJS, JSON, SQL, testing and build tools, Scala, Spark, QlikView (Internal languages/systems: EP Workflow, Slang, DataStream)
