Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s)Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityAdvanced application development experience using Java/Spring Boot in microservices applicationsProficiency in cloud native architecture, microservice architecture, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience in development, deployment strategies and support of REST API interfaces, or knowledge of GraphQLExperience with reliability practices and observability tools, such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, DatadogPractical cloud native experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with API management platform such as Apigee, AWS API GW, Kong, Spring cloud gateway, or proxy routing technologies such as Envoy ProxyExperience deploying and running workloads on AWS (using EKS )Experience in Request Routing, Load Balancing, DNS ResolutionExperience with Content Delivery Networks such as Akamai
