DescriptionLeidos is seeking aLead Site-Civil Engineerto manage our site/civil department in our growing Framingham, MA office to work on a variety of electric utility projects. Typical projects involve site/civil design engineering for both large and small scale utility projects. Candidates who have commercial/industrial site development experience will also be considered for the position. Candidate will primarily function as a lead engineer performing design reviews, leading projects, overseeing junior staff members, and contributing to bids and proposal development. This role will also consist of taking a responsible engineer role on main client projects, overseeing the work and ensuring quality control on design packages. Site-visits to client substation facilities are expected to be part of the work, along with occasional travel for client meetings and industry related events. Experience in front-facing client operations such as lunch and learns, and kick-off meetings is preferred. Candidate must comply with quality control and safe work practices and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule and budget expectations. This position will be a lead role in a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and drafting technicians.
