Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionPOSITION TITLE : Engineer Lead / ManufacturingSCOPE: effectively provide leadership activities, training, supervising, administrating, coaching, andProject/metric tracking. Independently coach and mentor engineers and mechanics, methods and issue resolution for existing and new projects and teams.Provides engineering skills and activities in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, process, industrial,Project management activities surrounding capital projects or internal upgrades.Mechanical (electromechanical) design/re-design of custom production equipment used in the manufacture of finished goods.Oversee the construction, start-up, and commissioning of engineered production machinery, new product startups, quality improvements, cost reduction and continuous improvement project implementation. Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering disciplines expected. Coordinate all required activities (quality, production, facilities, Purchasing, validation etc.) to bring projects to fruition. Responsible for leading project teams, capacity calculations, planning, along with support in budgets and financial justifications, train engineers on validation and mentoring on six sigma projects.
