Position Summary:Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicleUse Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truckManeuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstaclesUnload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environmentsProvide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnelComplete delivery and pick up paperworkPick up returned product as requiredCollect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicleComplete company training and certifications as requiredEffectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workersOther projects or duties as assigned
