Job SummaryManages a team responsible for developing and implementing new applications that comply with established policies, procedures and standards of the specified area of Finance. Ensures accurate accounting of and appropriate deployment of resources. Outcomes managed have an impact on the specified area of responsibility.Job ResponsibilitiesProvides recommendations to Senior Management on the creation of new Planning Analytics applications or enhancements to existing applications. Creates and reviews detailed designs and specifications for complex Planning Analytics applications that have enterprise-wide impact; Plays a lead role in developing project estimates, schedule, and commitments.Constructs and tests planning analytics application logic. Develops, creates and modifies application code for complex applications.Oversees and provides expert guidance on detailed design/code/test quality reviews for components.Oversees and provides expert guidance on mitigation and resolution activities for critical production failures.Manages the implementation of complex enhancements to existing Planning Analytics applications and major new Planning Analytics applications across the enterprise.Leads research efforts to identify and recommend technical and operational improvements resulting in improved reliability and/or efficiencies in maintaining and/or developing the application.Oversees the work of developers.Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.Collaborates with Finance and Accounting teams to discuss & understand business requirements and creates functional requirement specifications.Builds and presents Proof of Concept to stakeholders and seeks approval towards solution build.Implements Planning Analytics/ TM1 solutions using TM1 Rules, TI Processes, PAx, and PAW.Implements TM1 security across implementations.Conducts Planning Analytics training sessions for end-users.“About Walgreens and WBA
