Your backgroundPursuing a Master of Science degree.You will create a generic VSC model that can be linearized in Matlab/Simulink. It is proposed that the study is done in the framework of a 20-week master thesis project.You have knowledge in MATLAB extensively used within HVDC system studies due to its capacity to perform complex analysis within the same environment.You will create a simplified model in Matlab/Simulink that permits to perform fast small signal analysis of the control system and draw general conclusions.This can also be seen as a feasibility study to evaluate the capacity of Matlab/Simulink for future development and perform benchmarking between other tools that have linearization capabilities (e.g. Dymola, Power Factory).More about usAre you ready for an exciting new challenge?
