About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry. This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week on a three-rotational shift pattern, ensuring you have variety and balance in your working schedule.Shift Patterns:Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 07.00am - 3.00pmMid Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3.00pm - 11.00pm and Friday 10.30pm finishNight Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11.00pm - 07.00amCompetitive Salary Package: Up to £46,000 (depending on experience), plus shift allowance, overtime, annual bonus, and a Cummins Reward Scheme.Benefits:Health Shield Scheme - because your health matters to us.On-site parking for convenience.Opportunities for overtime to boost your earnings.RESPONSIBILITIESWhat You’ll Do:As a Maintenance Technician, your role will be pivotal to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. You’ll:Solve Problems: Engage in fault finding and repair of plant machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.Collaborate: Work closely with Operation’s Supervisors to set priorities and manage your workload effectively.Stay Safe: Adhere to safety procedures, including working in confined spaces and at heights, and follow the LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) process.Innovate: Raise requisitions for equipment spares and propose solutions that balance cost, quality, and delivery.QUALIFICATIONSAbout You:To succeed in this role, you’ll need:A recognized electrical or mechanical apprenticeship (essential).Experience with machine tools like ball screws and spindle rebuilds.Knowledge of Siemens S5/S7 PLCs or Sinumerik One control systems (desirable but not mandatory).A passion for learning new skills and troubleshooting complex systems.Ready to Power Your Potential?Take your career to the next level with Cummins.
