Job Description SummaryThe Project Quality Engineer will be responsible for executing supplier quality activities for GEH New Reactor projects.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Perform supplier execution activities for New Reactor projects focusing on supplier qualification and quality control of the procurement activities.Work proactively with suppliers to define specific quality requirements, including development of inspection, verification, and qualification processes, in addition to tests and processes to assure products and services meet the quality requirements.Provide technical guidance to suppliers toward assuring product/process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.Work proactively with suppliers to resolve quality concerns applying technical and quality expertise to deliver project quality requirements.Execute supplier quality surveillance program for New Reactor activities.Disposition of supplier non-conforming productsWrite and review technical quality documents, plans and proceduresAnalyze test data to identify defects and trends, and initiate corrective actionsSupport future error prevention through the use of the corrective action processes.Establish quality metrics and monitor performance against established standardsMaintain detailed documentation of quality records, including inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actionsStrong oral and written communication skills; proven ability to develop team relationships.
