The Fabric Control Plane team is responsible for building a unified control plane and service discovery infrastructure that powers our network dataplane (managed proxy fleets, RPC libraries, and sidecars). We provide Datadog engineers with feature-rich APIs and tooling to expose their services to both internal and external customers in a secure, reliable and scalable way without worrying about network interactions in distributed systems.As our infrastructure grows, our team has also grown significantly and we need a great manager who can help accompany the growth of this young team....

They use the tools that we develop and support several times a day; in dev and CI; in diverse Git repositories, from very large polyglot or monoglot repositories (monorepos,sic) to smaller repositories scoped to services or libraries (“micro-repos”); and in various languages, including Go, Python, Java, Rust, and TypeScript. The Task Platform team builds the scheduling and asynchronous task processing frameworks that enable many thousands of customer integrations and power many Datadog products. In this hands-on role, you will manage a team of engineers working on the latest version of our internal worker framework to address both new use cases and eventually replace legacy systems. Partnering with engineering teams around the company, you will help define the team’s roadmap and architectural design, shipping features that make it easier and faster for product teams to deliver value to our customers....
