About the RoleThe Local Payment Methods Team within Global Payments is responsible for the Portfolio of Local and Alternative Payment Methods, prioritizing a seamless and comprehensive user experience, as well as cost optimization across the platform.As Payment Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation, performance, feature development and management of Local Payment Methods across Uber’s Platform in different regions (including US & Canada, LATAM and EMEA).What the Candidate Will DoYou will work closely with several cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering and Data Science to:Define the strategy of the Payment Method Portfolio across different marketsLead the implementation of New Payment Methods, defining operational guidelines, go-to-market strategies and baseline performance metricsTrack the performance of Local Payment Methods, including industry benchmarking on KPIsEnsure the correct operation / user experience of Payment MethodsExplore UX improvements and new featuresAdditionally, you will collaborate with the Marketing team on the design of adoption and engagement strategies to promote the usage of Local Payment Methods.
