Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.PRECISION INSPECTOR (MACHINING) - 2ND SHIFTRESPONSIBILITIES:Complete surface plate work/inspection of machined aerospace partsInspect supplied product according to the applicable drawing and or work order specifications to verify that it conforms to all design requirementsPerform complex inspections following standardized methodsComplete in-process inspection, visual and/or dimensional inspection of precision machined partsInteract proactively with production to improve products and reduce defectsCommunicate and help resolve quality related issuesDocument non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processesSupport quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesWork in a cross functional environment utilizing PC-DMIS programming skills as applied to DCC CMMsCreate, maintain and verify CMM programs used for the measurements of manufactured and supplied partsPerform documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance to design and specification requirements

Pay range:Precision Inspector/Level 1: $24.00 - $31.00/hourPrecision Inspector/Level 2: $28.00 - $37.00/hourPrecision Inspector/Level 3: $33.00 - $43.00/hour
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
