EF Educational Tours is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic professional for the position of Procurement Specialist for the LATAM region to join our Operations department in Panama City, Panama. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be procuring cost-effective and quality services and solutions. This position will report to the Director of Procurement and will work closely with suppliers and EF functions.

Travelling is required for up to 40% of the time depending on the season, to be on the road learning the market, cultivating relationship with suppliers, and securing business agreements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business, economics, or tourismMinimum 2 years of experience in services procurement, business management, or a similar fieldExperience in the travel, tourism, educational travel, or online travel agency industry along with a strong interest and network in these fields is preferredStrategic mindset whilst actively engaged to run day-to-day prioritiesStrong and proven analytical skillsAgile and open-minded team player, with a solution oriented, innovative, and driven mentalityComfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong communication, negotiation skills and cultural awarenessProficient knowledge of ExcelBusiness fluency in English and Spanish.
