This role is responsible for serving as a liaison between all ancillary input and output organizations to ensure that components and assemblies flow smoothly through the production area to meet stringent deadlines and quality standards.RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to the next production locationCoordinate the physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock rooms, purchasing, production resources, or any applicable work center within SpaceXEnsure parts are handled and protected properly and within SpaceX specificationsCoordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery as requiredWork with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure MRP/ERP data is and remains clean and accurateAssist with the resolution of incorrect system data which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failureAnalyze available data and develop metrics as required to drive optimal resultsWork with production personnel to ensure metric goals are understoodUpdate and utilize target management system to drive results as applicableWork with production supervisors and managers to ensure all metrics driven action requirements are completedDevelop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints as required for internal and customer useCommunicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership weeklyAssist production leadership and project teams with action item updates as requiredSupport logistics process through the innovative staging of workflow as requiredManagement of material certifications as required; prevent use of un-certified materialsSupport production and inventory personnel with “return to stock” and inventory purge actionsSupport purchase requisition creation for scheduled contract work as requiredOrganize and maintain the physical and electronic library for production related tooling and calibration database as requiredSupport projects or productivity development activities within assigned production cellsSupport assigned production cells with work order management activities as required

Pay range:
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
