Position DescriptionJob SummaryRole Summary:Purchasing Supervisor is a professional who is responsible for overseeing the purchasing process within a company or organization. The role involves managing a team of purchasing agents or buyers to ensure that the procurement of goods and services is done efficiently, effectively, and at a competitive cost.The main duties of a Purchasing Supervisor include:Managing the purchasing team to ensure that they are meeting their targets and objectives. Evaluating the performance of suppliers to ensure that they are meeting their contractual obligations.Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure that purchasing needs are met. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of purchasing activities. Developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Establish annual Road Map to meet ICRF standard / Compliance related to Purchasing. Activity includes but is not limited to establish annual roadmap for bids to be performed for suppliers, establish contract, comply with the Digital Tools usage, comply with the CSR policies Analyzing, identifying, and selecting suppliers that can provide the best value for the organization. Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.Purchasing of direct and indirect materials, services, and investments for the production site.Supplier negotiations including preparation, contract drafting and order processing as well as supplier evaluation.Work in coordination with the ENC Purchasing Category Manager to implement sourcing strategies at the site level.Work in coordination to secure business and mitigate supply risks. Identify risk areas Collaboration in cross-functional sourcing purchasing teams for continuous optimization of results for the SG PPL locations as well as preparation and implementation of sourcing committees.Process optimization and supplier consolidation as well as the initiation and implementation of cost saving potentials.Establish Supplier Evaluation program for suppliers with regular Suppliers Audits.
