DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Quality Technician - Level II to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Supporting Engineers: By assisting in production-related and inspection tasks, you will help ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.Quality Control: Monitoring material quality and making necessary adjustments will directly contribute to maintaining high standards in the processing plant.Documentation: Maintaining and supporting documentation and records will ensure accurate tracking and compliance with industry standards.Defect Identification: Comparing physical characteristics to technical specifications will help identify defects early, preventing potential issues down the line.Testing and Reporting: Conducting simple tests and preparing technical reports will provide valuable data for decision-making and product improvement.Customer Assistance: Assisting customers in understanding product specifications and measurement data will enhance customer satisfaction and trust.Measurement Studies: Participating in measurement uncertainty studies will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of measurement and calibration results.Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment will keep tools in optimal condition, supporting consistent and accurate testing.
