Job SummaryAnchor Diamond, an Oldcastle APG company, designs and develops hardscape products, including segmental retaining wall blocks. Anchor Wall Engineering, LLC (AWE) provides segmental retaining wall engineering services for Anchor Diamond. AWE provides preliminary and final design for millions of square feet of segmental retaining walls around the world. Our staff of professional engineers have over 85 years of combined experience and are excited to provide mentorship opportunities to student interns who are passionate about engineering and segmental retaining wall design.Job ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret construction plans (civil, architectural, structural) for retaining wall informationAssist with preliminary design using industry standard software (AnchorWall, MSEW, SRWall)Assist with performing global stability analysis using industry standard software (GSlope, ReSSA)Prepare material quantity estimatesInterns will spend 1 day/week (minimum) at the corporate office of AWE in Minnetonka, MN.
