As a member of UKG’s Global Security team, the Security Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between our security operations and external stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for communicating complex security concepts to non-technical audiences, assist with fostering strong relationships internally and externally and ensuring that our security metrics are effectively tracked and reported.Key Responsibilities:• Serve as point of contact for security queries for our internal employees and customers and respond to their requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Assist with the development of security awareness campaigns and materials.• Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.• Collaborate with internal teams to gather, analyze, and report on security metrics and performance indicators.• Create and deliver presentations, reports, and other communication materials to various audiences.• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to provide informed guidance and recommendations.• Assist in the implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols.• Act as a liaison between the security team and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective security strategies.Qualifications:• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.• Ability to present to groups, both in-person and virtually.• Experience with security metrics, data analysis, and reporting.• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on communications and stakeholder relations.Preferred Qualifications:• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.• Experience with PowerBI and building metrics dashboards.
