Checkout.com is actively looking for a driven and agile Senior Reconciliation Analyst to join our growing Finance team.Working as part of our Treasury function, you will support the reconciliation of Payment Gateway (Schemes / APM) transactions. Evolving in a high-pace and dynamic environment, meticulous attention to detail will be key.The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, laser-focused and highly organized individual, not shying away from high volume of work. You must be a team player when it comes to getting the job done and assisting wherever you can.What you’ll be doingImprove processes, maintain & increase reconciliation robustness and introduce controls.Perform automation work & support new product projects alongside cross-functional teams.Support the implementation of reconciliation systems (internal, external)Support Reconciliation leadership with ad-hoc tasks (e.g. reconciliation sign-offs) and regular KPI dashboardsBe an SME in reconciliations, systems and tools of Payments transactions, apply expert knowledge of clearing and settlement processesAssist with training of junior staff & updating process documentationSupport internal and external auditsContinually develop skills and knowledge in line with business growth and expansionReconcile Checkout.com’s payment gateway processing across multiple bank accounts and providersIdentify discrepancies, the respective root causes, and take action to eliminate and prevent any such in perspectiveCommunicate with internal & external stakeholders to resolve queries in an effective and timely mannerQualificationsUniversity degree in a numerical subject (and strong academic record) or 2+ years’ work experience in reconciliations in a high-volume transaction environmentVery good knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas, PQ or VBA)Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets with skill and confidenceProven ability to find end-to-end solutions to issues and work cross-functionally and with remote teamsAbility to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment and often shifting prioritiesFluency in English and excellent communication skills at all levelsKnowledge of Card Schemes, Alternative Payment Methods or Payin / Payout solutionsAbility to self-manage individual projects of high complexity and automate manual tasks within the team or departmentAbility to build relationships with key stakeholder groups to achieve business outcomes and improve efficiency of processesFast learner, able to work independently and with minimal supervisionAdditional InformationApply without meeting all requirements statementIf you don’t meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
