Job Description: SQL Database Administrator (DBA)Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our SQL Server databases, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Azure SQL Managed Instance, and will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our databases.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain SQL Server databases on-premises and in Azure.Implement and manage operational aspects of cloud-native and hybrid data platform solutions.Perform database backups, restores, and recovery procedures.Monitor database performance and optimize queries.Configure and manage high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions.Automate routine database tasks using T-SQL and other tools.Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.Evaluate and implement database migration strategies between on-premises and Azure environments.
