TheElectric Machine Design Engineerwill be tasked with the design of our automotive traction machines. Your responsibility will include ownership of the electromagnetic design and optimization of the eMachine topology, and the development and qualification from concept to serial introduction.You will work closely with our simulation experts, product line integration engineers, our Inverter Design & Systems experts and our advanced manufacturing experts to drive new product development.Interact with the system engineer to develop and own the traction motor specificationsOptimize the design of the machine to meet performance, packaging, robustness and cost targetsInteract with advanced manufacturing experts and/or suppliersConsult with vendors and suppliersSuggest enhancements to advance projects and improve workflowsDesign responsibility of the eMachine until launch of serial production
