About the RoleAs a Senior Engineering Manager at Uber, you will be leading a group of engineers and engineering managers to build global solutions while closely collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams.This role is within the Amsterdam-based Spender Payments & Checkout organization and will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a strong, diverse, high-impact team. Guiding the spender through a seamless and intuitive payments experience. Spender Payments & Checkout team is organized around 3 main themes:Checkout Platform. Builds the lever that allows our spenders to seamlessly checkout.Spender Payment Success. Optimizes the lever.Payment Selection. Connects the user intent to the payment instrument.
