The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environment, is adept at multitasking, and is ruthless with prioritization. In this role, you will distill large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data into clear insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and external partners. If you approach work with a continuous improvement mindset and strong collaboration skills, we’d love to welcome you to the team.This role is eligible to work remotely in the US, and candidates who are based in the SF Bay Area are preferred.About the TeamThis role reports to the Director of Investor Relations and will work closely with the VP of Investor Relations, Capital Markets and Treasury. The team is responsible for managing analyst & investor relationships with the Street and driving the company’s external narrative. This analyst will also need to work collaboratively with many other cross-functional teams Instacart.About the JobAnalyze and summarize industry, competitor, and valuation information and perspectives from the investment communityCollect, analyze, and present investors' feedback, analysts' positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysisMonitor consensus estimates to identify the drivers of movements and analyze potential implications vs. our external outlook of the businessAssist with shareholder engagement activities including non-deal roadshows, in-house meetings, and conference appearancesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure that all external and internal communications are integrated and consistentWork closely with finance team to analyze financial results and compile important statistics and other relevant information for use during the quarterly earnings announcement and conference call as well as throughout the quarter during regular discussions with investorsOwn day-to-day operations for the IR program, such as maintenance of IR website and monitoring of investor inbox, and develop process improvements to help the team operate more efficientlyAbout YouMinimum Qualifications5+ years in Investment Banking, Equity Research, or Investor RelationsPolished communication skills and comfort working with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partnersAbility to digest large amount of quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize in clear fashionStrong attention to detailSelf-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to start, oversee and complete projects with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications1+ years of Investor Relations experience at a public companyStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a mustExperience working with IR Insight, FactSet and/or other investor relations platforms is preferredExperience working with Mode, Tableau, PowerBi, or similar is preferred#LI-REMOTEInstacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work.
