Highbridge Capital Management is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain the state-of-the-art Highbridge AWS Infrastructure & Services, reporting to Highbridge’s Head of Engineering. The Engineering Team is responsible to help code, build and support best in-class applications used throughout the Firm, interacting directly with users across both front office and back office in a dynamic environment. This Senior Engineer will partner with others on their team as well as our Investment Technology group and other Infrastructure teams at JPMorgan in support of Highbridge’s AWS Cloud PlatformJob responsibilitiesImplement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healingDesign, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS.Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on AWS.Demonstrates site reliability principles and practices every day and champions the adoption of site reliability throughout your teamCollaborates with others to create and implement observability and reliability designs for complex systems that are robust, stable, and do not incur additional toil or technical debtWorks toward becoming an expert on the applications and platforms in your remit while understanding their interdependencies and limitationsEvolves and debug critical components of applications and platformsProvides comprehensive and ongoing guidance, tools, and solutions to support the firms' growthDefine and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS and implement/Enhance infrastructure automation via IaaC using TerraformRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceProven experience as an AWS Engineer or similar roleStrong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, VPC, RDS SQL Server, RDS Oracle and othersExperience working with Snowflake SaaS Datawarehouse PlatformProficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with automation tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormationExperience with Datadog or similar Infrastructure Monitoring toolsSolid understanding of cloud security best practicesFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsOperate in a fast-paced and highly demanding Hedge Fund environment.AWS certification as an Architect, DevOps is preferredCollaborate with third-party vendor systems for system integration, upgrades, and ongoing issue resolution.ABOUT USJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
