We are looking for a senior software engineer to join our core speech technology team. You will collaborate with engineers, researchers and voice AI practitioners in the field to help enable various voice AI products for customers across different industries using SoundHound state-of-the-art ASR technologies. You will have opportunities to apply your knowledge and experience in both software engineering and machine learning to solve real-world voice AI problems and deliver values directly to SoundHound customers.

We’d be incredibly excitedif you have experience with Kaldi, PyTorch and TensorFlow, have worked on projects enabling on-device models using TensorFlow Lite, have knowledge of the end-to-end ASR pipeline, have experience developing, tuning, deploying and maintaining ASR models, have knowledge of NLP techniques related to ASR, and have experience working with customers. Proficiency in writing production-level C++ code is also a plus!
This role is available throughout Germany. Employees within a 100-kilometer radius of our Berlin office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled “core days” each month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration. Aside from these office-specific “core days,” this job allows for virtual/remote, hybrid, and in-office workplace options.
