LVMH Beauty is part of the LVMH Group.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain competitive intelligence and customer knowledge for the North American Fragrance marketCreate or customize all promotional Marketing programs and promotional event calendar for North America.Interface with Marketing counterparts in HQ/Paris in order to ensure alignment of global brand strategy.Provide input to Global teams in the specific areas of product development, promotional marketing and advertisingLead cross functional teamwork in all business endeavors including but not limited to sales, visual merchandising, forecast/planning, media, PR, e-retail, events, and education.Develop and manage POSM budget, monitor Marketing expenses and work with purchasing to develop promotional sampling and collateral materials within targeted financial parameters.Collaborate with Sales & E-Retail on planning and execution of robust omni-channel promotional strategies. Lead presentations to major retailers.Lead forecast process for new Beauty lines/products and monitor inventory of saleable & POSM products.Track retail sales performance, analyze business trends based on marketing calendars. Run monthly sell-out reports to review rank and share performance, deep-dive into category to provide Global Marketing & local leadership with North America market data, product performance and recommendation to adapt category offers/strategy.Develop and recommend pricing for Fragrance programs and assist in preparation of company price increase recommendations.Design strategies and partner with VM to implement guidelines (in-store visual, schematics per retailer, merchandising contest…) to ensure merchandizing excellence in top fragrance doors & at countersManage a Coordinator and oversee development of Marketing team membersRELEVANT SCOPE MEASURESSales, profit, company headcount, budget responsibility, etc.Achieve budgeted levels of retail / market share, invoiced sales and profitabilityAchieve spending objectives as set forth in promotional and marketing areasTimeliness, quality and creativity in development of Fragrance marketing activation plansRelationship with key counterparts (Global teams, sales teams and internal Marketing functions, retailers)QualificationsBachelor’s Degree – Graduate degree desirable5-7+ years of experience in Marketing; preferably in luxury Beauty/fragrance industryAbility to function in an entrepreneurial environment – very hands on approach and ability to adapt to changeExcellent strategic thinking and creative problem solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication abilitiesSuperior analytical skillsStrong interest in fashion, art, culture with a keen eye on trends and what’s nextStrong leadership ability, able to build, motivate and manage teams (direct report & cross-functional teams)Knowledge of French an asset but not requiredProficiency required in: Power Point, Excel, Circana DKAdditional InformationBased in New YorkSome travel required (retailer meetings, events, store visits) - in US & Canada mostly.LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $120,000.00 - $130,000.00.This job description is intended to cover the core accountabilities of the position and is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
