About the Job
As the Senior Manager of Security Engineering at Life360, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the systems, infrastructure, and data that power our mission to keep families connected and protected. This leadership position is instrumental in developing and executing strategies that ensure our platform’s security at scale, enabling millions of users to trust us with their most important moments.
You will lead a dynamic team of skilled security engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that emphasizes technical excellence and proactive problem-solving. By implementing cutting-edge security measures, managing risk, and driving compliance, you’ll ensure that Life360’s infrastructure and services remain resilient against emerging threats.
The US-based salary range for this position is $181,000 to $266,000. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
What You’ll Do
Leadthe Security Engineering team, providing mentorship, direction, and fostering a collaborative environment to drive performance and growth.
Designandimplementrobust security architectures, processes, and tools to protect Life360’s systems, applications, and data.
Collaboratewith cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and IT, to integrate security best practices into development lifecycles and operational workflows.
Developandexecutesecurity strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and evolving threats.
Identifyandmitigatevulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and managing incident response plans to address security events.
