Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Working with limited supervision, performs all aspects of Sheet Metal related fabrication and repairs as well as general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools, equipment and safety requirements. As required, works from engineering drawings and/or verbal direction to layout, fabricate, construct, and assemble a variety of complex sheet metal parts including, but not limited to, transitions, fittings, elbows, ducts, odd-shaped parts, covers, control boxes, exhaust vents, hoods, adapters and fixtures for maintenance, engineering, and production use. Sets up and operates electrical and manual equipment to cut, bend, straighten and fabricate sheet metal including smoothing seams, deburring and assembly. Installs and repairs fabricated sheet metal parts and assemblies to support facilities and production equipment such as, but not limited to. heating and cooling ductwork, vents, exhaust, roof penetrations, stainless steel appliances, siding, and metal partitions.
