FBOSS stands for Facebook Open Switching System. It is the software stack powering the network switches in Meta’s data centers across the world. We work on some of the most critical infrastructure challenges at Meta. Our current focus is building networking switch platforms for our AI clusters that power large language models (LLM) for Generative AI, Recommendation engine, and Metaverse.Software Engineer - FBOSS (Facebook Open Switching System) Responsibilities:Design, develop, and support services to manage various functions of datacenter network switches (platform, ports, switching, QoS, config-mgmt, telemetry and monitoring).Develop and support test suites for continuous integrationEngage with partner teams to align on goals, strategies, and roadmapsParticipate in oncall rotations for operational supportMinimum Qualifications:
