Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing Operations Manager is a highly collaborative analytical thinker able to develop and implement creative solutions to operational challenges. You are a key member of the Growth Marketing team and an enabler to the global marketing and sales organizations The Senior Marketing Operations Manager will build and execute best in class marketing programs and campaigns, manage the systems required to maintain and optimize a highly-effective inbound engine, and assist the global marketing department in the achievement of its goals.

The ideal candidate will be zealous about using technology to help the organization deliver the right messages to the right customers at the right time.

Responsibilities:

Manage the strategy, design, execution and operations of our lead management processes and systems, marketing automation systems, marketing databases, and reporting/analytics

Actively monitor, analyze and report on the health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition, and campaign activity and results.

Drive strong sales and marketing alignment with initiatives and processes that support lead management and governance, improved lead quality, enhanced data quality, and tools and templates.

Define ‘metrics that matter’ and manage the process to package these measurements into dashboards and reports to measure performance of the marketing team.

Define and own the martech stack – HubSpot, Salesforce, attribution and analytics solutions, data standardization tools, lead routing systems, and other tools and capabilities. Partner with Sales Operations and IT to identify, design and implement solutions that drive growth and productivity.

Provide the Marketing leadership team with ongoing analysis for marketing investments, pipeline impact and goal setting.

Drive marketing database strategy: analyze gaps in our data, contact acquisition strategy, practices that ensure data quality and measure/maintain database hygiene. Develop new ways to mine data to guide marketing investments.

Identify opportunities, recommend solutions, and implement marketing technology that enhances the user experience and improves reporting systems.

Manage vendor contracts, fulfillment, and licensing, and partner internally to ensure Legal and Infosec governance and compliance. Build maintenance mechanisms.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

5+ years of professional experience in marketing operations or related field

5+ years of professional experience with marketing automation tools (such as HubSpot)

Marketing automation certification, such as HubSpot (preferred), Marketo, or Pardot.

Subject matter expertise with tools for email (like HubSpot), web optimization metrics, event marketing (like BrightTalk, Bizzabo), lead routing (like Leandata, Chili Piper), and attribution and analytics.

Experience leading projects for large scale automation platforms and/or digital communication tools with global stakeholders

Strong understanding of database structure, data hygiene, and analytics

Governance experience with large marketing automation, paid display and social platforms, CRM, or similar platforms

The candidate must also be a strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives
