Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Assembly Automation / IoT Engineer.Great people make Schneider Electric a great company.What do you get to do in this position?Support the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System for the production area/lines (parametrization and setup for customer products)Actively participate in design reviews for processes requiring MES deployment while giving on data collection and retention at each stepLead develop and integration of system design software for Manufacturing Execution SystemsDefine equipment required to achieve requirements of equipment specificationPlan and provide detailed training on system design, maintenance and troubleshooting to various customer skills to maintain system uptimeSupport of existing system designs and production issues will be required both locally and at various sites globallyDrive definition of facility network, firewalls, cybersecurity and VPN requirements to support MES systemsMaintains up to date knowledge of technologies and utilizes this knowledge to specify and develop innovative solutionsContinuous improvement and process support including interaction between MES and ERP (or other local Systems)

QualificationsThis job might be for you if:Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)3+ years of experience in a role in Manufacturing IT, Engineering, and/or AutomationUnderstanding of ERP, SAP systems and interfaces to MIS/MES systemsSkills:Extensive experience with C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, OracleExcellent knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL or MySQL)MS Visual Studio, ASP.NETPrevious experience with MES or manufacturing area technologies (is a plus)Critical Behaviors:Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural, virtual environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, mfg operations and others)Proven ability to influence and convince through negotiationMotivated self-starter, who able to work in parallel on multiple projectsStrong attention to detailFacilitator to drive problem solving and troubleshooting activitiesWork with minimal supervisionSchedule:Full-timeReq:0097K8
